Ripples of Resistance [Contest Finalists September 2005]
Uploaded: September 18, 2005 18:18:20
A.P., 1/15th sec., ISO 200, Tamron zoom @ 300mm.
This leaf was stuck on the edge, resisting being swept over the edge some way I couldn't see. But the symbolism of hanging on was just what I needed at that moment as there were some very stressful events in my life at this point. In the same way, I couldn't see our Lord, but He was with me, and kept me from being swept over the edge with the flow of circumstances in my life.

Kerby, thank you for your comments and concern. It's amazing how sometimes a photograph can help us see, and put things into perspective. That is what this one did for me. The leaf cought my eye, so I captured it, and in looking at the image, answers just came to me. So yes, I am doing quite well and dealing with things with the help of our Lord. Thanks again, Dan. #1864672Rachel Keller September 22, 2005
