Wounded Cheetah [Contest Finalists July 2005]
Uploaded: July 11, 2005 04:16:54
I found this Cheetah in Londolozi in South Africa, and imediately noticed the leg wound, very dangerous for a Cheetah who depends on speed.

Thank you Colette and Detrick!!! #1579461Heather Harpel July 11, 2005
Wow, amazing photo! I love how the subject is placed off to the side. I'm trying to learn to do that with my photos, I had a terrible habit of placing everything dead center. My kids are very impressed with your gallery, they said you must be very brave to take photos of lions and cheetahs like that! My daughter, Jo, especially loved viewing your photos because she loves big cats. Although tigers are her top favorites, cheetahs are a close second. #1579495Nicole Kessel July 11, 2005
