Look at that texture! This is absolutly beautiful . Oh,, the eyes and whiskers and nose.......and ...I can go on and on...and sooo sharp.. Nice work Damian #14814Damian P. Gadal September 15, 2002
Thanks to everyone... I was happy with the way this came out too, but I did crop it a bit to give this just a little bit more punch... At first I thought of just using one eye, then settled on this...I've been reading up on all the functions of this camera and found out how to set it in macro mode, but since it has such a large zoom, I thought I'd try a bigger subject for just a bit further away...
Again, thanks to all of you.

Donna said it all! Great job! #14832Patricia Marroquin September 15, 2002
Damian, I agree with everyone else. This is amazing. Did you scan this one in? If so, what scanner did you use? Cheers, Patricia #14836June Marie Sobrito September 15, 2002
Great job! #14837Damian P. Gadal September 15, 2002
No, this wasn't scanned. My scanner is sold old, it would have taken days....I used my camera, but like I said, I just discovered how to set it in macro mode.
The zoom lets you take macros from about 4 feet to 4 inches away from your subject... The trick is trying to set the focus correctly.
Thanks again. #14839
