Sketching Cathedral Grove

Went for a walk this morning through Cathedral Grove, which has 800 year old Douglas Firs. Across from the largest Douglas Fir which is 29 feet wide and 250 feet tall, I found this lady sketching the tree. I am so lucky that this place is just a 15 minute drive away.

Its so amazing with something that close to enjoy how many times you go back and find something new. Beautifully composed, I love all the trees and then that wood fence. A bonus this time with the artist. Adds so much to the picture. Gorgeous colors and scene. #11383164
