Wow, what clarity, even in the eye and shadow. I cropped out the shadow and focused on the top of the wings, like it an all forms.

Thanks, Carolyn....this is also one of my favorite shots. The color at the left is coming from the reflected Sun on a partly cloudy.....if I had waited to snap the shutter a fraction of a second later, this would have been NOTHING but an overexposed mess! Never underestimate the power of luck, eh? :^) #7326
