Thank you very much, ladies! I appreciate your kind remarks. Connie, the lens is a Tokina 80-400mm. It's been acceptable over the last 18 months of use, but has it's drawbacks. It can drive me nuts when it "hunts" for the focal point... slowly. But, if money's an issue, at under $500 it's not a bad choice. It's given me some pretty awesome results at times. But it will be for sale very shortly. I'm biting the bullet and buying the Canon 100-400mm IS USM next week (with a 1.4x extender). Stayed tuned for some of my best bird photography!
