Peeking Through [Contest Finalists April 2005]
Uploaded: April 26, 2005 15:25:00
My intentions was to get a dreamy effect using only the camera. The camera was tripod mounted using a cable release switch; shooting through the leaves only focusing on the edge of the daffodil center petals with a setting of f2.8. The only PS enhancements used were: a little cloning in the upper right corner, curves and unsharp mask.
Last spring I took Tony Sweet's class on flower photography. Not only did my skills improve through his instruction; he taught us to approach photographing flowers with a more creative edge. I highly recommend the class!
