Taken from Mt. Schaeffer in the Canadian Rockies near Kicking Horse Pass. Lake O'Hara is blue and Mary Lake, several hundred feet higher & shallower, is green.

Thanks, Ivan. The Canadian Rockies are stunningly beautiful. I enjoyed your gallery, particularly " the fugitives". Nice composition. Steve #1301307bob cornelison May 23, 2005

Hi Steve! Not sure how I missed this shot in you gallery. I was looking through it tonight and this really caught my eye. What a great perspective on these lakes, and the differing colors based on their depths. Terrific work.. I imagine this hike was fantastic! #4909047Steve M. Harrington October 10, 2007
Thanks, Dave. This was no hike. I was just below the summit of a mountain the scared the dodo out of me. :)Crystal L. Craig February 01, 2008
Naw, I think you still have plenty of dodo left in ya! Great capture, absolutely beautiful colour and dramatic cloud play reflecting in the brilliant waters. Absolutely lovely! #5428420Steve M. Harrington February 01, 2008
I suppose there is more dodo in me. :) Thank you for the reality check, Crystal.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
