The is really cool! I love old buildings, where is this ghost town located? Into my favs! #1564073Harriet Feagin February 18, 2014
Jill, It is located outside of Clovis and is called Taiban. This old church has been abandoned since the 1960's. I live in West Texas so I had planned on going to photograph this place for some time. The clouds are a real asset and one cannot plan clouds. It so happened that my husband and I were traveling back from a Bowl game in early January. It was around 8 in the morning and the clouds were perfect. Sometimes you just get lucky. Thanks for the fav and the kind words. PS. He is not a photographer and still does not understand why I would stop in sub-freezing weather to take this photo. #10979196Usman M. Bajwa March 05, 2014
This is a terrific capture, Harriet. And I do agree with you, that the cloudy sky makes it more so!!!UB. #10994174

Great sky - I have photographed this old church several times and the sky is a big uncontrolled factor. Is this your WTPSL winner? ~April #11403499Harriet Feagin November 26, 2015 1
