Description

ONe of the many things my older nephew did to entertain us last week. He put on his Halloween outfit and instructed us to be the dispatcher (we all took turns) to tell him where the fires were. It was soooooooo cute. I've done 3 different versions of this image and can't decide which I like best so the others will probably appear as well.

Cropped the image some changed to BW and did some SC then added a slight hint of dreamy.

Fantastic shot, Marcie. Think of the possiblities if he grows up to become a Firefighter. My little brother use to watch Emergency and play Paramedic when he was small, now he's a top notch Paramedic for real. If only I had a picture from back then. :) #1032736

You'll notice his badge says sheriff so apparently he does double duty some days but this day he was all firefighter. His hose was some small PVC piping. What an imagination he has. He also did a puppet show, a song and dance, and played catch while we were there.

Paul . . . this little guys daddy was an EMT for a while as well put didn't go further than that. Whatever he grows up to be he'll be wonderful at it. #1032745

About 40 years ago (gees, has it been that long?), when I studied photography in college, my teacher told me never to let the nose shadow cross the lips.

Your nose shadow has NOT crossed the lips. You may not have known what you did, but you created reasonably good directional lighting for portraiture!
