A break in the clouds while flying over Miami Beach's art deco South Beach captures these shore bound pelicans as they gawk at the topless bathers below...
(actually the pelicans were added in PS3 from a different picture. The beach scene was captured from a Hughes 500D CameraCopter during a brief flight with a business associate.)

Jessica & Tom - I thank you for your comments! We have gone and looked at your galleries and are very impressed with you work! Tom, where you ever in the Coast Guard? It seems that you were in Taiwan around the same time I was doing my tour duty in Hawaii for the Coast Guard... Again, thank you both for your comments! Dick #1133668Donna J. Eaton February 26, 2005

Donna, Thank you for your kind comments! We are really getting the hang of this and will be entering another one today with a lighthouse that we find very interesting. Let us know what you think if you get to take a look! Thanks again!!! #1135465ashley nicholas February 26, 2005
Hi Dick, Great job with both this photo and the one with the light house, It really makes you feel like your up there with those birds!! #1135549Sara And Dick February 27, 2005
Ashley - After viewing your gallery all I can say is - attempts... I think you have arrived! Your images are beautiful and so diversed. The seagulls following the ferry, your scenics, the night scenes, etc. etc. etc. I had a digital rebel and loved it! Just sold it and got a 20D because it holds more frames in the buffer and shoots up to 5 frames per second, which is excellent for flight & action photography. Thank you for your comments. They are very much appreciated!! Keep up the good work! #1137481Stephanie Lyons March 15, 2005

Great job. Initially, I was wondering if the pelicans were a little too daring to come so close to the modern bird. :) congrats and good luck. #1178801Deborah Sandidge March 16, 2005
