This self portrait (Digital Art) was created using my Cameras timer, and photoshops "line tool" to make the bar code. Once all the lines and numbers were added, linked and merged those layers and reduced he opacity so the pores of my head could be seen beneath. Next I created a bounding box around the newly merged bar-code layer and applied Photo Shops Pinch filter. Finally, configuring an Auto F/X Mystical lighting filter to create the red-white bar-code reader light, I used the pinch a

I'm confused. I'm sure this came up as a finalist for February! Maybe it's a resub? Anyway, congratulations on a terrific finalist! #1182951Brian D. Watters March 16, 2005
Hi Debra, thanks and yes, you are confused, but I think I know why. If you look four posts above the one you just left, you'll notice that you left your original comment on this image in August of last year when I first submitted it. :) The only image of mine that became a finalist in February was the one at the following URL: http://www.betterphoto.com/forms/discussionDetail.php?threadID=201420 which also features myself as the model. :)Debra Booth March 16, 2005
Well, not exactly, Brian. I'm looking at row 8 on page 29 of the finalists from the February entries (http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGall2.php?catID=5845&pageID=29&rows=30&style=&contestCatID=&camID=), and I see this photo there. It looks like it became a finalist again like it does when you resubmit a photo. See it? #1183040Brian D. Watters March 16, 2005
Debra, I'm sorry, but you are still confused as I can count how many times I've made finalist on this site. 1st was in Nov of 2001, 2nd Nov 2004, 3rd (and winner) Dec 2004, 4th Jan 2005, and 5th/6th just a couple days ago with this image and my lunch box image.Cheers!
