Last Light - Wind River Range, WY [Contest Finalists February 2005]
Uploaded: February 10, 2005 03:57:28
Our 12 mile backpack brought us to the Island Lakes of Titcomb Basin in Wyoming's Wind River range. Though not as well known as the Tetons of WY, this part of the Continental Divide provided some outstanding photo opportunities & a feeling of wilderness. The light was fading, so we pitched our tent on a rocky bluff near this tarn. While I was tempted to check out other photo ops. in the surrounding area, I ultimately deciced to stay put, and create different compositions here.
