Making this my favorite of your November entries, Mike. I love the moment you caught, the colors and the effects. It's a great "period" shot. In a tie (I tossed a coin) is Day's Beginning. The colors, clarity and composition are stunning and I'll be surprised if it does not go on. Good luck. #8196510Michael Umbreit December 12, 2009
Nikki - Thanks! This is my second favorite for the month right after Day's Beginning. I am always happy to capture anything that tells a story. :-) Mike #8210755Merna L. Nobile April 23, 2013
Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.Michael Umbreit May 24, 2013
