Susan, to answer your question. I first use the editing program that came with my canon camera and to turn RAW files into jpg because I use a free editing program called GIMP to do most of my editing and the version I use does not accept RAW files. I think GIMP now has a program to edit RAW files, but it takes me forever to download or learn new programs so I haven't tried it out. Hope that helps. #12031390
