Suspended in Flight [Hummingbird Pictures Photography]
Uploaded: August 18, 2012 21:14:35
One of the many hummingbirds who have decided we are THE hot spot to eat. I really love this shot, how his body is perfectly still and you can barely see his wings. Describes the hummingbird to a tee. I decided to include a little of the feeder at the edge of the photo for context. Contrast increased, cropped, and sharpened. f5.6, 1/200, ISO-100, 200 mm
Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 5/1000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 200.00 mm, Model: NIKON D5100

I agree with you, Wendy. Love the still body with the motion in his wings. So pretty. #10289383Philip B. Ludwig August 25, 2012
Great job on this shot. Very nice detail in the bird, a pleasing compositon, and I like that you included part of the feeder. I like the contrasting colors, and the reflection in it. #10290137Wendy M. Hansen-Penman August 29, 2012
