The Plaza Lights Up [Contest Winner Pool November 2012 Man Made Things]
Uploaded: December 04, 2008 21:05:51
I thought it would be fun to add some fireworks to the Christmas Lights on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
The street scene has basic editing but the fireworks were added in PS CS3.

This is stunning -- and as it should be :) Great job on the original capture with perfect nighttime exposure and excellent work adding the fireworks. They look very natural and, as you hoped, perfectly appropriate with the plaza lit for Christmas. #6864117Corinne M. Thompson December 07, 2008

Thanks, everyone! I am from KCMO originally, but I'm sorry to say I do not know if they have fireworks with the lighting ceremony every year. I know they have done so in the past. These were all added in Photoshop as I mentioned in the description. Thanks again for all the comments! #10488979Merna L. Nobile January 20, 2013
