Love the tinted version, Amy, especially your selective coloring and the overall tone of the image! Wonderful timing and action, as well as a treasured keepsake!! Excellent!!Susana Matos January 11, 2005
Me, too: I love the tinted version, and it is a wonderful catch and beautiful work!Kara L. Hendricks January 11, 2005
I like them both, but I think I prefer the color. Just a preference. Such a cute shot, Amy!! #1027035Amy M. Parish January 11, 2005
I like the color version too. I know brown backgrounds are a bit old-fashioned, but they do wonders for skin tones and lighting. I hadn't done a tinted picture in a while, and thought this pose was a good one to try.I don't actually tint or color. What I usually do is select an area to keep in color, and take the color out of the rest of the picture. Then I add pink to the cheeks and stuff.
He was just so old-fashioned-looking in his little overalls and bowl haircut! This is my nephew, and my sister-in-law keeps them both in bowl cuts. Kind of a flashback to a look that was popular when we were little kids, I guess! #1027367
