Playing in the Rain. [Contest Finalists January 2005]
Uploaded: January 06, 2005 13:46:51
I shot this at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha Nebraska last July. We had an unexpected rainstorm, and my grandson decided to have some fun. I should of been looking for shelter, but I couldn't pass up trying to get a shot of him playing in the rain. The camera got wet but survived. It stopped raining, and we had a great afternoon at the zoo.

This is simply great! I like how the boy is having fun and how rain falls into the floor. I like your choice of black and white. #202972Mike D. Shullaw January 08, 2005

I'm very surprised that this image doesn't have many comments! In fact, this is the first time I come upon it myself. It is GREAT!!! I was struck by the dimensions in this photo: the pot with the cactus looks larger than life compared to the boy. This gives the photo a VERY unique and intersting perspective! Congrats on this well deserved finalist! #1484078Mike D. Shullaw June 18, 2005
