Love this one Aimee, it was my fav of all the ones from this session you posted on FB. It has a Little Rascals feel to it to me. I think it looks good as presented but I think it would be cool if you mute the colors even more to give it an old fashioned look. #1498921Aimee C. Eisaman November 17, 2012
It was my favorite too Tony...mainly because it was not planned. I was just trying to get pictures of Silas...not the dog and I asked him to take his hat off and put it back on. When he did the dog came and just sat down there and he messed up putting the hat back on. I got this right before the dog left and he fixed the hat. I'll try a vintage version soon. :~) Thanks! #10423149Elaine Hessler November 17, 2012
How adorable! It does sort of have an old fashioned look. Your subjects look so serious! #10423204Teresa H. Hunt November 17, 2012
Very cute picture Aimee, I love it. :) I think it's kinda funny both the little boy and dog look so serious #10423336Beth Spencer November 17, 2012
They are both so cute in this picture!! I like the old fashion feel to it and would love to see a vintage version. #10423415lisa anderson November 17, 2012
I'm trying to be very very frugal with making photos a favourite on betterphoto.com, because I'm on jpeg.com and I have a ridiculous number of favourites, (a few thousand)... but this one I/m making a favourite. I love it :) #10423451Jeff E Jensen November 17, 2012
Excellent work, Aimee! #10423488Kristin Duff November 17, 2012
TOO CUTE...what kind of dog was that Aimee? #10423494Michael Kelly November 18, 2012
No one else mentioned it so I guess I am just strange, but what I like best about this shot is the slight lean of the two main subjects away from each other. To me this really creates an interest in the shot that would not be there otherwise. Of course the rest of the technical aspects need to be very good in order to see and enjoy this subtle aspect of the photo. Great job on this one Aimee. #10424421Jeff E Jensen November 18, 2012
Excellent point, Mike! #10424538Peter W. Marks November 19, 2012
I think Mike is right. What that slight leaning to one side by the dog tells me is that he is thinking-#10425273

Thank you very much Phellos...and I'm honored Lisa! :~) I have no clue what kind of dog it is...maybe palmaranian? Between him and the cats going in and out of the shots and another dog in the background I sure had my hands full...lol! Very cool observation Mike! Here is the vintage style version you asked for...not sure if I took it far enough. Let me know what you think! #10425483Brandi K. Mills November 19, 2012
Two things I love kids and dogs! So cute! I think Little Rascals feel is right on. And I do like the vintage look. #10425751Merna L. Nobile December 31, 2012
