I took some time to relax and take pictures after my moms service. I am still not doing well, but I take each day and hope that tomorrow will be better. Have a nice week! I forgot the tripod so I did ok with the slow shutter speed.

Shelly, continuing to think of you during this painful time; keep taking time out to rest and relax; beautiful image and, impressive, hand held! #10324857Michelle Alton September 16, 2012
Beautiful image and your timing was perfect for the crashing wave. #10324929Ken Smith September 16, 2012
Hey Shelly, this is beautiful and you did great job hand-holding the camera, because I like the slower shutter speed's treatment of the crashing wave. I'm sorry for the loss of your mom but I know that each day will be better for you, and you'll always have the fond memories of your mom. #10324962David M. Montero September 16, 2012
Wonderful hand held capture. I probably couldn't do it even With a tripod. "Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow." #10325305Anita Hogue September 16, 2012

Shelly, Gorgeous Capture! I know this is a hard time for you, but the pain will ease, just hang in there. Best Wishes to you and your family. #10325356Emile Abbott September 16, 2012
I love the lighthouse hidden. The crashing wave reminds us that nature will shape our coast lines just as the sorrows we face today will shape our strengths for tomorrow. As long as you have the great positive attributes your mom splashed on to you so will youl have the same to pass on to your charges and family. Her greatness will live forever and never forget that. You are rock solid my friend and will be a beautiful coastline for those that follow you as well. #10325519Bill Houghton September 17, 2012
