Oh Christmas Tree [Contest Finalists December 2004]
Uploaded: December 08, 2004 06:06:43
From a series I photographed while the kids decorated the tree. The hands belong to my two year old. It is the first year she was able to help with the tree. :)

Dear Deanna,Deanna Cathcart November 19, 2005
Marty - to much to get into on here but do a search on google for photoshop & selective coloring. Lots of free lessons out there. #2096616Marty M. Coones November 19, 2005
Deanna, Thanks so much for responding and for your help. I recently purchased Photoshop CS2 because it was the latest and greatest, so I hear. I actually haven't even had a chance to upload any pictures to it yet, You know how it is with kidos.. One other question if you don't mind, did you shoot the photo in RAW? I've heard so much about RAW and my camera is capable but I have never done it.. Thanks for your response and if you have time let me know if you used a RAW photo.. Thanks, Marty #2096634Deanna Cathcart November 20, 2005
I don't shoot raw at this time but will probably make the switch next spring. I wouldn't use photoshop for conversion of raw files though - I would use capture1 - also called c1.#2097309
