Surprise Arch [Contest Finalists July 2012]
Uploaded: July 18, 2012 03:31:18
One of the many arches in the Fiery Furnace at Arches NP. Access into the Fiery Furnace for those unfamiliar with the area is not recommended (in fact, strongly discouraged, as the park tries to limit numbers into the area in order to maintain as natural as possible an area that, considering the number of visitors to Arches NP every year, is not an easy task). The park provides guided tours with one of the rangers (for a nominal fee), and it is well worth the journey in. Three shot hh HDR.
