What an exciting hike Laura. I've only been able to photograph Moraine Lake from below and it was fabulous, and this must have been so thrilling to behold at the top and must have been worth the climb despite the sore muscles. Now you've got the view and a few lbs. of weight loss. Ha! #9617553

Hi You guys! I'm about a mile from camp in a place they are allowing me to use their "wifi" for a small price. (A cup of VERY THICK and OLD coffee). :)))

WELL I CAN TELL YOU, this HIKE to the TOP of these ROCKS was so hard for me that I ALMOST had to throw my camera gear OVERBOARD! HA! RIGHT OFF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN! And I mean that! Tammy, you and me BOTH, lady. I stopped more than a BUS on MAIN STREET! The air is so fresh up there but the air ALSO gets thinner and thinner...MORE AND MORE "THIN" until you think you will FAINT. I felt young when I started the climb and well...I DIDNT FEEL YOUNG trying to reach the top...Lol...

In The End, I Was Glad I Didn't Throw My Camera Gear Off The Cliff.

Laura: I hear you on the aches and pains. We have spent two days in the Grand Canyon and have sore bones just walking the Rim Trail. I wouldn't even hope to make the hike that you have. I do hope my photos will turn out as great as the aches and pains put in for them!

Hi Everyone. It was a long way up, but maybe that is just MY opinion!!! Lol...Took about about 20 minutes but SSSKiki I bet you could have done it in SEVEN!!! :)))

I suggest this look out if you are ever at this lake. :) I'd do it again, unlike the walk up at Peyto Lake! Lol!!!

That's how the climb looked from the very base of the trail up the mountain. It LOOKS easier than it was...When I saw the top here I was so happy! I felt it was important to include the steps to show the viewer that getting to the top included a climb! :)

I felt like I was on the top of the whole world when I made it to the top of this mountain. I have short legs the the steps seemed tall to me. I had to stop a lot for survival reasons! Lol....Aren't camera's cool? We can save each other the trip up stairs like this and I am so pleased that you are enjoying seeing what I saw!
