Scent of Nara
Uploaded: April 02, 2010 00:28:54
This cherry blossom is called Nara No Yaezakura (multi layered cherry blossom). Its place of origin is Nara, an ancient capital of Japan in 10th century. Hence the name. The red background is azalea. Photographed at Japanese Tea Garden of Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.
