Aperture 2.8, shutter 1/5, standard lens. There is a window behind subject with bright light, so exposure compensation of +1 1/3 was used to get the right exposure. The only "correction" I did to the photo afterwards was to erase the chair she was sitting on from the finished photo.

Thanks for your comments. Since entering the photo, I've made a few more alterations. I've erased the part of her sweater over her shoulder and a little fold of the sweater a little farther down on the shoulder that seemed to stick out just a bit. I've also added text...not that the picture needed it, but I just thought this quote was appropriate and added something to the effect I was going for. #901495Leonard Pierce December 16, 2004
