Snowburst-Pawtuckaway State Park [Photography Contest Nature & Landscape Photos]
Uploaded: November 24, 2004 03:12:08
After a fresh snow in Pawtuckaway State Park in NH, the strong wind & sun created great backlighting opportunities similar to sun filtering through mist during the warmer months. Tokina 28-70mm, Fuji Velvia, f11, Bogan tripod. Converted to B&W in MGI Photosuite.

WOW this is wonderful Harry! #935255Patricia A. Kuniega November 24, 2004
Magnificant! You have my Wow to add to this! An incredible shot Harry! I can imagine what it looked like standing there. The b&w is pure magic. I also wouldn't mind seeing this in color as I'm sure the pines and warm light are lovely as well. #936015Harry Lichtman November 24, 2004
Here's the original color version. Because of the contrast in the scene(I tried fill flash at max but I couldn't tell any defference)the color version ended up looking more like a B&W). Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks to all for your comments. Harry #936079Lucia De Giovanni December 15, 2004
