Thanks Janet, Bonnie, Judy and Sharon for your comments.Bonnie,...you can witness this phenomenon most often after a cool, clear night in autumn,...(about the same time the fall leaves are "prime").
You have to shoot early though, because as the sun rises, the dew burns off quickly and the wind picks up.
