Self portrait of me doing my best Bobby Fischer imatation. The position on the board is actually from a game Fischer played against GM Bisguier in 1957.
S 1/4, f 2.8, ISO 200, mini tripod and self timer, all ambient light.
Please comment or critique. Thanks!!

A beautifully lit self portrait, Don! Great expression, concept and over-all composition! Your creative imagination is working overtime!!! Very well done, my dear friend! I like it a lot! #188038Donald K. Cherry November 13, 2004
Thanks you very much, Sanjay! If my creative imagination doesn't work overtime, I will get left behind by the works of you and other talented photographers at BP! #907204Allan L. Whitehead November 13, 2004
Ahhhh, yes, I remember it well. If I'm not mistaken, next it was 'rook to Bishop 2 - 'mate', eh…'Wonderfull presentation, Donald, the b&w works well to portray the 'stark reality of the game'. Very well done, my dear friend - your good friend, Alla #907316

Great setup and great acting, Don. I love the chessboard reflection in your glasses.Since you asked, a few minor suggestions... the upper right reflection is a bit hot (a flat painted wall or a cloth might be better) ... a higher f-stop (maybe f8) might keep both your hand and your face in focus. #907341

Neat idea, setup and self-portrait Don! It's nice to see you. I also think it could use more light and a smaller aperture. Good job!! #907369Donald K. Cherry November 13, 2004
