Saco River Firelight #1 [Pictures of Streams and Brooks ]
Uploaded: November 22, 2005 09:06:49
During the day , this area of the Saco River in Crawford Notch is a great swimming hole. I imagined the possibilities under different lighting and returned several times in order to capture colorful clouds reflected into the river. I waded mid stream during high water and used a 3 stop grad. ND filter at f16, Fuji Velvia 100. I moved quickly between medium format and 35mm equipment. If I'm brave enough, I may try this again this winter.

Thanks all for the comments. The image looks a little underexposed after uploaded. My version was about 1 stop brighter. Anyway, enjoy!Harry #2107519
