A lovely little "everyday moment" capture, Laura. I often think about these, but never know where to start. #1432801Laura C. Johnson December 31, 2011
I love food photography and find it useful to put the camera on a tripod, lock it down and turn it on Live View. This helps both in the detailed positioning of objects and in visualizing the composition. Also, lighting is extremely important. Think about what you want to convey and then match the lighting to the scene. For this one, I used side lighting to bring out the texture, but kept it soft to keep it warm and cozy feeling. #9895618Larry L. Redmon January 24, 2012
