Pink Dawn Rannoch [Pictures of Scotland Photography]
Uploaded: November 06, 2008 13:54:36
If I had a favorite spot on Rannoch moor, Glencoe, Scotland, this is it. I was offering some wisdom to another photographer when this sunrise occurred. This one tree seems to have evaded the march of Autumn remaining green even through the first snows of the year. The blues of twilight eventually gave way to pink light first staining the clouds and then painting the mountain tops. I waited for an even cloud distribution then took the shot. Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 0.45ND grad, F/16 at 2 sec's, Velvia.
