Rippled Gold [Pictures of Scotland Photography]
Uploaded: August 14, 2007 16:49:23
Sunsets have an unfortunate stigma attached to them by photographers. I was busying myself with shooting the rippled texture of the sand and believed that any chance of a sunset had in fact already evaporated. By chance and for a very short duration the sun streamed through a thin sea haar (mist) so close to the horizon that its power was severely diminished thus preventing lens flare. Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland. Pentax 67II, 45mm lens, F22 at 2 sec's 0.9ND grad.
