I'm guessing this is from the EMP?Nice job turning an abstract building into an abstract piece of art!
I'd love to shoot this building sometime. #1417436

Love the colors in this Dale! #9755665Teresa H. Hunt October 22, 2011
Jeff, I'd love to see the kind of shots you'd get from this building.Dale, great shot! I love the colors. I find this building really hard to shoot. But you really got some great shots! #9755703

Thanks Deb. Would have loved to see this in the morning light.I agree Teresa, it took some creative cropping to get the best out of it. Have a few more to post from that visit including the red sculpture in the park. Will try to get them in the blog tomorrow. #9755743

Wonderful clarity and colors Dale - this one jumps out at you. I think it is perfect as presented. #9756935Peter W. Marks October 23, 2011
This is what I call a colonoscopy shot Dale. Very intriguing. It would take mind mind off the impending indignity as I sat waiting to be wheeled into the procedure room. :0) #9757606Dale Hardin October 23, 2011
Thank you Mike. It's a great area to shoot.LOL! Peter, you certainly have a way with words and thanks for the compliment, I think. #9757619

This is intriging, Dale. Where and what is EMP? I'm sure when you tell me I'll say to myself..."I should have known that!". Such a great title because you juxtaposed the softness of a quilt with the harder, colder material shown here. There appears to be a lot to do in SoCal. When are the Phellos coming your way? #9758629Debbie E. Payne October 24, 2011

Hi Dale;Jeff E Jensen October 24, 2011
Debbie - This is the Experience Music Project in Seattle. The building was designed by the same guy that did the building in Vegas that I posted shots of. #9758867Dale Hardin October 24, 2011
Thanks Debbie. The metal is the material that makes up the "quilt" look. Loved shooting this building.Carla, you hit it right on the head. The unknown darkness was the "space" in the title. There are a lot more views on my blog. Check out all the Seattle links.

the lighting on this is very nice I really like the tones. abstract feel to this is really nice. I hope that I can go back there again. #9759468Aimee C. Eisaman October 25, 2011
Dale this image along with the title make me think of silly things like a bed with a metal quilt on it. It's an intriguing image for sure. I love the contrast of light and dark along with the contrast of warm and cool patches. You also have a contrast of warm and cool in your title. Metal being cold and quilt being warm. :~) Nothing I can think of changing in this image. #9761309Beth Spencer October 25, 2011
I'm coming in a bit late on this one. I really like the colors and design in this one. It is amazing that metal can look so much like a quilt. #9762911Dale Hardin October 25, 2011
