Rocky Mountain Elk

I put the Elk into the mountain scene,please tell me what you all think.

You did a pretty good job of placing the elk in the scene, but it does have the look of being placed there. Maybe because the elk is a little too large. Not quite sure, but it doesn't look natural. Pretty scene though. #2256407Lucia De Giovanni January 05, 2006

Hello Melvina, I have to agree with Sharon. You did a good job of cropping the elk, but people will probably be able to tell it is a fake. I think perspective is what ultimately gives it away The elk is very close to the observer, yet the foreground apprears to be a marsh taken at some great distance. Because of this, the elk appears to be 60 feet tall! I would recommend finding another photo where the foreground is close to the observer. That way it will appear more natural.
