One of the many barns we photographed on the Palouse, but most were in ruins, and falling down, This one is well kept and also of an odd shape.
Rumor has it this barn was donated to WASU this year.

A magnificent capture, Chris. #1409275Chris Schofield September 19, 2011
Thank you Michelle. The clouds really made the shoot easy. It seems like they are radiating from the barn. #9679914Richard B. Hallick October 18, 2011
Congratulations on the finalist selection for this very special image. #9743741Chris Schofield October 18, 2011
Wow thanks Richard. I'm quite surprised. Every time I came back to this photo, it looked tilted to me, even though I made sure everything was inline on my horizon grid in the view finder #9743850Nancy Marie Ricketts October 18, 2011

Chris, this is wonderful! Love the comp and the sky and of course, the round (well, octagon) barn! We have lots of round barns in Indiana - I just have never photographed any. And one of my goals is to do a workshop in the Palouse - this is such a different take and refreshing image of that region. CONGRATULATIONS on a superb FINALIST and Good luck in the next round! #9749391Merna L. Nobile October 21, 2011
