The graphics, textures and lighting are superb, JudyAnn. Knowing the subject's history adds to the melancholy mood of this image. #9543832JudyAnn Rector July 21, 2011

The title along with the brilliant quality of your work in black and white combine to give us this powerful and emotional image. Beautifully composed, I love the lighting and the eerie feel as we imagine someone climbing those stairs, one at a time, to their death. Incredible work my friend. #9546191JudyAnn Rector July 23, 2011

Thank you SO much, Joseph... it was chilling to be standing under it for the photos, especially since I was all alone. I have an image of the drop doors complete with rusty ol' hinges too! Thanks again... *:)) JudyAnn #9558033Mike F. Anderson July 30, 2011
