Studio Storm

Shot in the studio with 2 monoblocs, 1 with softbox. I'm still short a 3rd strobe so the background lighting is performed in Photoshop. Desaturated, subtle softening toward the edges, and apologies to my daughter Storm for losing that lovely red lipstick ;-)

Very, very soft and pretty. The lighting looks great. #179064Casey A. Hanson October 16, 2004

When she turns 18,...do you want a son-in-law from America? #859571Graham Jones October 21, 2004
Thanks Jill and Casey. Even Storm, who is soooo tired of being photographed, liked it!:-) You wish Josh! She has turned 18 but your issue will be getting past the grumpy old retired Army Warrant Officer standing at the door - Especially whilst your still in Navy clothing mate ;-)
I'll take your remarks as very flattering and pass them on.

Yet another great photo, Graham. May I ask how you added the background lighting? Thanks! #864741Graham Jones October 24, 2004
Hello Nicole, good to see you still prowling around :-) Rather than give a long winded explanation here I have created a PDF that describes the technique for you. The result of the example used in the PDF doc has been posted and you will find the original of the picture and a link to the document in the discussion area here:http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.php?cat=560&photoID=583677
Hope this works out for you.
