Fantastic capture, Rita. Our yard has dozens of mourning doves, but I have never seen a nesting pair...or a baby dove. Can't wait to see the natural progression! #1382994Rita Hill June 06, 2011
Thank you Michelle, I am going to follow these little darlings very closely. Be epecting more images to follow as they complete their journey. The next is next to my back patio only 20 feet from my bay window of my kitchen. I placed a tripod and camera inside the house window open, removed my window screen so they don't see me shooting. A great view and focal point. Stay tuned.Misty Blue June 06, 2011

Rita this is a awesome capture and what a delight to be able to watch them without them feeling threaten. keep up the good work. #9559434Rita Hill July 28, 2011
Thank you all for your nice comments. Unfortunately a few days after taking these shots, I discovered the eggs were gone and loose feathers around the nest. It seems some other form of natures creature got to the eggs and the mother put up a fight. I was so upset after following this event so close. Thank you all again.Stefania Barbier July 29, 2011
