Re-shot with your kind suggestions--got rid of distracting foreground, changed the perspective to include more of the glass, and got a little more color out of it. Honest impressions appreciated!

This one is beautifully done as well. I really like this concept and the way you executed it! #169349Darren K. Fisher September 16, 2004
I love it. YOur lighting is perfect and that BG really makes this for me. Well done Debra. #784613Charlene Bayerle September 16, 2004
I didnt see the first one.....but, this is beautiful Debra!!!! #784685Debra Booth September 16, 2004
Thanks for those encouraging comments!! I appreciate it.This kind of shot is new to me as I'm not very experienced at setting up shots. And Darren, if only I'd seen your comment about your blue vase and flower shot before I shot this one, I would have tried to knock down some of the glare with a polarizing filter. I wouldn't have thought to do that with an indoor shot though!
Thanks again for your comments and willingness to share your knowledge!! #784822

Great shot,Debra!!!!! #784880Sharon Day September 16, 2004
I think it's great!! The tile is a nice background. I didn't notice the glare until you mentioned it but you can always do it again :) Glare is such a part of life it looked natural to me. Nice job! #785006Robin L. Wehrman September 16, 2004

Teriffic shot, Debra! Love the shadow concept, the textures and your composition on this! ... My only thought would be that a dash more color might be nice, ... but it works well as it is! GREAT shot! #785267Colleen Braun September 16, 2004
I like it, the neutral tones are good... #785762Debra Booth September 16, 2004

Hi Debra!! I Sure Do Remember This One You Got It Now! The Touch Of Counter Showing Is Just Enough The Light And Shadows Look Great I Really Cant See The Glare As A Problem The Polarizer Has A Tendency To Alter The Color Too! But It Doesent Hurt To Try It Very Good Image!! #785974Debra Booth September 16, 2004
