Awesome, Susan.Stephen Shoff January 18, 2011
Very nicely done, Susan. The green really makes it unique. The fade to black really helps dramatize the shape of the guitar but I wonder if it wouldn't be better with just a little more detail visible. #9171241Dale Hardin January 18, 2011
Very nice composition and POV Susan. You do well with the instruments. I assume from the image that you were focusing on the label but think it could use a little deeper DOF so that the strings were in focus. But that is hard to say because only you know what your goals were for this shot and from the judges standpoint it seems you got it right. Well done. #9171317

I really like the rich tones of the green and your POV and composition. I agree with Dale on needing a little more DOF, but, the judges seem to have liked it this way. Congrats! #9173872Brenda K. Beatty January 19, 2011
I love this. #9174528Debbie E. Payne January 19, 2011
Susan - I love this just the way you have presented it and obviously the judges agree! The look you've created here is perfect. #9174962Anthony L. Mancuso January 19, 2011
Love the comp and richness of the colors Susan, I agree it would be beneficial if the strings were sharper, but I don't think they look bad as presented. #9175692

And Susan, you just know I had to go a googling and now I know a bunch about the Ibanez guitars and that the company is owned by a Japanese gentleman Hoshini Gakki. Back in the late 60's early they were sued by Gibsons and Fenders for copying their designs and eventually settled out of court.Carla Capra Anderson January 20, 2011
Hi Susan,Teresa H. Hunt January 20, 2011
What a beautiful guitar. I love the color and the texture of the paint job. I didn't even notice the strings were not sharp!I have tried so many times to get a great photo of my husbands guitar. I've failed miserably every time. Maybe this afternoon I'll pull it out and give it a shot . . .
Your photo is very striking Susan! Congrats on your EP :) #9181125
