A moment of panic [Contest Finalists November 2010]
Uploaded: November 20, 2010 00:04:41
These two naughty goslings were playing around in the bushes and didn't realise their parents and five siblings had moved on. When they realised the rest of the family was not there they came out of the bushes in a real panic. They started chirping loudly and finally were reunited with the rest of the family.

Hi Joannie, things are slowly starting to happen to get the city back up and running again but a lot of businesses are going to be out of action for a long time. A lot of rebuilding to be done. On another note, we have had a serious mining disaster on the West Coast, 29 miners trapped after a gas explosion. Rescuers haven't been able to go in yet, gas levels too dangerous but it's not looking too good for them. #9053854Carol L. Fowler November 20, 2010

I love the story that goes with this photo. I am on the other side of the world and rescuing ducklings that are just as loud as mom and dad. #9793241Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
