~ CLOSER TO GOD ~ [Nature & Landscapes Nature Photography and Landscapes]

I guess it's the altitude of being in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, that one feels closer to God. That and just merely taking in the beauty with which He created for us to see and enjoy. This particular spot is one in which we've stopped many times in our travels through this lovely state, but I had never noticed this rock and tree, until another fellow photographer pointed it out to me. I could imagine one sitting upon this rock, perhaps with bible in hand, saying prayers and giving thanks. I didn't go sit on this rock, but I sure wanted to. Maybe I will save that for another trip....I couldn't decide which version I liked better, so I will include the color version in the discussion area.... HAVE A GLORIOUS DAY!!!
#15 in my Colorado series...

Hi Blondie! Both versions are very beautiful but I will always pick color over B&W! But I'm sure most people will like the B&W best!GLORIOUS capture! :-) Ma #8837393

G'day *JEANA*!Firstly my heartiest Aussie congratz on the EP and Finaliost awards for this remarkable B&W landscape.
The clouds echo the ruggedness of the rocks below and the hole in the rock makes a good, strong focal point in this very well composed, photographed and processed work.
