~ DOORWAYS & PASSAGEWAYS ~ [Photography Contest Elements of Design Abstract Photos]

Surrounding the outer perimeter of Bents Old Fort located outside of La Junta Colorado, are many little rooms and passageways to get to them. I cannot remember what all of the rooms were used for, but you can bet that they were used efficiently. Parts of the area were used as corrals and such for the animals that lived at the fort and the ones that were just passing through were treated very HAVE A SUPER DAY!!!
well...
#5 in my Colorado series....

Whew -- I'd have trouble just finding the bathroom, Jeana (well, more likely finding the door to the outside, where the bathroom probably was back then)! Another great look at this intriguing place! #8807717Val Feldman August 05, 2010

Jeanna- A beautiful look at this old sandstone fort that in its day served its purpose and kept people alive. Love the composition here, the veritical look and the fasinating shapes that form it. I especially love the wood gate at the bottom and what looks like a wood bridge at the top. Beautiful colors and feautures. Gorgeous work my friend. Have a great day, use some of it just for you. take care. #8807854Nikki McDonald August 05, 2010
