Uploaded: August 01, 2010 13:15:27
Canon EOS 40D, Aperture-Priority, TV 0.5, AV 32 (used a tripod), Center-Weighted Average metering mode, ISO 250 (inside a conservatory), EF 180mm Macro Lens, 180.0mm Focal length. My Mom passed last fall and her two really close sister right before her. Growing up we always did everything with our 3 families - it was great. All three of them were beautiful women - just like the orchids. This picture required horizontal framing, and filling the frame. It also follows the rule of 3rds as well as 3 is pleasing to the eye.
Exif: F Number: 32, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/2 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 250, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 180.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

Carla,I was just looking through your Gallery and found this picture. This is a wonderful and beautiful composition. The story behind the symbolism is very moving. What a wonderful Christmas card it will make. I also see that this entry was a finalist for photo of the month, congradulations. I really enjoy your photography. Thank you for sharing this ! #9758861
