Hi Dennis: I think that you and Carla must go to the same races, just kidding!Carla Capra Anderson June 05, 2010
Hi Dennis,Dennis Gay June 05, 2010
Merry Be MERNA & CARLA!!Great to see you both at the track catching all the action.
Heaps big thanks (x2) for the encouragement and support of your "Thanks for the info..." and "...love'n your action..." comments on my motorcross action shot.
Merna: Yes, I have checked out Carla's terrific motorcross action shots and am duly impressed.
Carla: While the spectator area at this track is really only good for photography in the mornings, it is uphill from the track and there are a few vantage points for some really good action.
One thing about that 100-300mm lens is the great compression it creates.

G'day CARLA!Yes, it has got to be the best track in the whole state as far as I have been told. The committee are dedicated to making continual improvements.
Keep experimenting at your track. Try different vantage points and different angles and see what works best. I am restricted to shooting in the mornings due to the orientation of the spectator's area but if you can move around the circuit always follow the light.
