Late Afternoon Yosemite View [Contest Finalists June 2010]
Uploaded: June 09, 2010 03:15:45
This is the view looking south from the ridge that leads to Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park in California. It is late afternoon when the shadows are deep and the condensation trails from airplanes crisscross the sky. It is also the first of June when the parks many waterfalls are in their full glory - a truly special time to hike the ridges and valleys of this spectacular national park. (HDR photo with 3 exposures blended using Photomatix Pro. Further adjusted using Photoshop CS3.)

Ted, I love this image! It is so different than your other wonderful Yosemite images, especially the jet streams in the sky. Congratulations on your Finalist award!!! #8761962Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
