Heaven's Gates [Contest Finalists June 2010]
Uploaded: June 18, 2010 20:21:24
I am not use to shooting in the moment, but I tried my best. How clumsy I must have looked! Surprised I did'nt drop my camera over the bridge! Tend to lose focus - no pun intended - when I am faced with an unpredictable, quick yet rare moment.
All of a sudden, the sun filtered throught the clouds unexpectedly. I got about 3 shots off. No, I did'nt have continuous mode and automatic bracketing activated! Crap! But still, I still have enough in the picture to reveal those heavenly gates.
Exif: F Number: 13, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/4 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS REBEL T1i

I'm with you on the ones that get missed because of their suddenness. But you did exceptionally well with this one. It's a gorgeous image. #1280175Mark A. Lopp June 19, 2010
