Hymenoptera:Vespidae, a paper wasp face, continuing with the subject of insect faces here. F32, 1/200s, ISO200, Ringflash, +4 diopter lens, plus a stack of extension tubes (12mm +20mm + 36mm Kenko) in between the camera and my 60mm Nikkor macro lens. This gives an approximate magnification of 3.5. This image is a focus stack of 3 frames. I adjusted exposure, contrast, color and reduced noise application. Cropped a little. Taken in Raleigh, NC USA on March 21, 2010
Exif: F Number: 32, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/200 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, return light detected, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 60.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90
