These two were on opposite sides of a tall fence at the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque. The one closest to me, probably a female, was with a baby while the larger guy was separated. I assume the separation was temporary for the sake of the little one. It was difficult to believe how much care they showed for one another while, dare I say, necking, and the faces they made showing their emotion!
